When you buy any Levels' Best cooked food and any food in a jar you can be sure that the main ingredient is a Levels' Best product – the flour in the pastry, the fruit in the jam or the meat in the ready-made meal – all of them have been produced to Levels' Best standards and travelled the least miles possible before its ready for you to buy.
Flour for the Levels' Best bread and pastry will have been ground between stones at Burcott Water Mill; fruit for jams and vegetables for the chutneys will have been grown on the Levels. Pork for pork pies, beef for casseroles and lamb for shepherd's pie will all have come from Levels' Best stock.
The Levels' Best brand will ensure that all the processing and packaging takes place on the farm if possible, or at the nearest place possible.
