Dairy cattle love the rich pastures of the Levels and Moors. Among the traditional British Isles native dairy breeds, there are British Friesian, Guernsey and Shorthorn on the Levels and Moors.

All Levels' Best dairy cattle graze farmlands across the Levels and Moors that are under conservation management for the benefit of wildlife, the waterways and wild flowers.

The vitamin-rich milk that comes from these cows makes Levels' Best clotted cream, yoghurt, frozen yoghurt and ice cream. Bottled organic milk is available from a farm in Stoke St Gregory.

Levels' Best speciality dairy product is a range of organic cheeses made with ewes' milk from Dorset Horn and British Friesland sheep.

We have been farming for over 30 years using traditional methods, with no artifical fertilisers. In return, we have been rewarded by an abundance of diverse flowers and plant which give our eves' milk - and consequently the cheeses - their distinctive, subtle flavours.
